Cortez Paradise Is located 6 km (or 3.7 miles) northwest of the center of San Carlos in an upscale gated community known as Villas California. The 3,000 square foot house sits across the street from million dollar waterfront homes and offers unobstructed panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez, islands, white sand beaches and sunsets.
The ground floor entry level has two air conditioned bedrooms with a full bathroom in between. The rear bedroom offers a very comfortable double bed with all new bedding and a small TV with English language satellite and a DVD player. The front bedroom, often used as an office, has a single bed and the DVD collection is stored in the closet. The laundry room (complete with laundry chute from the master bedroom closet), iron and ironing board are also on the ground level. The door from the laundry room opens into the small back yard, which offers shady refuge from the afternoon sun.
At the top of the curved staircase you will find the master suite, a recently renovated powder room and the great room, all cooled when necessary by central air conditioning and ceiling fans. The great room offers a door to the deck, spectacular views from the window of the spacious and well equipped kitchen, a bistro-style dining table and a seating area in front of the gas fireplace.
The attractive master suite boasts a substantial closet area and a huge and sunny 6 piece bathroom. The bedroom contains a new and luxurious king size bed with all new bedding and a television with English language satellite PVR and DVD player. The sliding glass doors from the bedroom open to the home's most spectacular feature - the vast second story deck, where you can enjoy the view and your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails in one of the shady nooks, taking in the full sun, or sitting in the Jacuzzi tub.
Under the kitchen sink lies a hidden treasure - a reverse osmosis water filtration system! The system supplies fresh, drinkable water to the kitchen sink, the fridge cold water dispenser and the master bathroom. We are very careful to change the filters more often than necessary, so you can confidently drink water right from these taps, a rare treat in Mexico! |
